How does the 7-day free trial work?

When you first open Progressive Focus, a 7-day free trial begins automatically. During the trial, all features are unlocked. After 7 days, the app continues to work with core timer functionality, but Pro features require a one-time Lifetime purchase.

What does the Lifetime purchase include?

A single one-time purchase of $9.99 (USD; prices vary by region) unlocks all Pro features permanently, on both iOS and macOS, on any device signed in with your Apple ID.

Pro features:

• Unlimited projects (free tier caps at 3)
• Full stats history (free tier shows the last 7 days)
• Dynamic Island integration on iPhone
• Custom notification sounds
• Manual light/dark theme switching
• Retroactive session editing

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Open Settings → Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

Does Progressive Focus sync between devices?

Not in v1.0. Cross-device sync via iCloud is planned for a future update.

Does the app require an account or the internet?

No account or login is required for core features. The timer, projects, stats, themes, notifications, and everything needed for day-to-day use work fully offline.

In-App Purchases are the exception: buying the Lifetime unlock, validating the purchase, and restoring a previous purchase all go through Apple's StoreKit and need an internet connection to reach Apple's servers. Once purchased, the entitlement is cached locally and the app continues to work offline.
